VOLAT

Changelog

What changed in VOLAT, in plain words, newest first. Atom feed.

Finish or restore an Undo that stopped halfway

  • When a later edit stops an Undo partway, Activity shows the change as stopped. Open it to see what was put back and what was left, then Finish to carry on, or Restore to put everything back as it was.
  • Whoever made the change can finish or restore it, even when the owner pressed Undo. A Restore that stops partway shows up the same way and can be finished.

Version 0.2

  • Volat Work 0.2 is out. It is the version where agents connect safely and everything an agent does is visible to you.
  • Home shows the health of each app: revenue, users, crashes and App Store status that your agents push in, recurring costs with their renewals, and a card that tells you where each app stopped.
  • Agents are easier to oversee. See what each one read, changed and why, compare agents on a 30-day scorecard, and get a warning when two agents change the same files. A review meter shows how much is waiting for you.
  • Pause or resume an agent key from the new Connections page, change its limits without making a new key, and see its usage.
  • Releases are easier to run. Make one in a single step, plan on a month calendar with fixed deadlines, and run a release with a shipped summary. An urgent hotfix release still needs your approval, and a bug can be marked as a regression in a release.
  • Agents take work one version at a time, and they check how much of their plan limit is left before they start.
  • Capture a thought in seconds, work in focus mode, close the day with a summary, and read a digest every Monday.
  • Log incidents and App Store rejections, keep a library of recipes for agents, and retire an app with a checklist.
  • You can set rules that approve small, low-risk changes for you. The merge check treats database, sign-in and payment files as risky.
  • Webhooks tell your own tools when an item changes, an approval is needed or a release ships.
  • Feedback from App Store reviews and your app comes in through the API, and replies are drafted for your approval. Nothing is posted for you.
  • Import tasks from a Notion export. Start in a demo workspace with sample data.
  • Every ticket has a preview link, and the issue panel shows every field, the pull request and its progress.
  • Pages update by themselves when something changes, and there is a refresh button in the top bar.
  • Pin apps to the sidebar, drag them into order and group them. Closed tickets have one permanent place in the archive.
  • Each app can have a public changelog and roadmap page.
  • Sign-in emails carry the Volat Work look. Every page passes an accessibility check, and we cut taglines and helper text from every screen.

Public docs, trust page and task feed

  • New public docs at /docs: how to connect your AI tools, every API route and MCP tool, and this changelog.
  • New trust page that says what Volat Work can and cannot do, with the code behind each claim.
  • Volat Work can now be a task source for orchestrators: list ready tickets, claim one, report progress and finish it.
  • Two-way Markdown task mirror: tasks can live in a tasks/ folder as Markdown files and stay in sync.
  • Import Markdown to-do files, GitHub Issues and Trello boards.
  • Undo a whole agent session from the Activity page, and see the history of one ticket or release.
  • Plain-English words by default, with a Simple / Pro switch on every screen.
  • A home page with what needs you and key numbers per app, and a fast review queue with summarized changes.
  • One-click setup for a new product, and a releases page that shows planned versions with an honest verdict.
  • Export your agent rules as CLAUDE.md and AGENTS.md.
  • Smaller fixes: the whole new agent key is shown with a Copy button, board columns fold into a side strip, cards drag from anywhere, the issue panel is easier to read, and a 6-character password is allowed.

Faster board and diagrams

  • A much faster board for large workspaces.
  • A dependency graph and Mermaid diagrams in docs.
  • Leaner replies from the agent API so tools spend fewer tokens.
  • Background jobs run on a proper queue, and Volat Work watches itself for errors.
  • A release readiness checklist and ship gate.
  • Group the board by a custom field, and rename or merge field choices.

First usable versions

  • Agents connect safely with scoped keys.
  • Needs you list, merge check, push alerts and a full export.
  • A redesigned board with a workspace switcher, saved views and a settings area.
  • A release calendar where you drag to rank releases.
  • Docs and wiki (alpha): Markdown pages, a decisions log and agent rules.
  • Custom fields and ticket templates per type.
  • Sign in with an email link.
